Here’s a page that might help answer all those burning questions!!!
Where do I register for the CRC? How can I reserve a hotel block room?
Register for the CRC here: https://clevelandashrae.org/crc-2026-registration. Make sure you receive a confirmation email from Squarespace.
Reserve a hotel block room here: https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/group-booking/CLERC/G-ASHR. Group rate is held until July 1st.
When will registration close?
We owe counts to our various event spaces and caterers by the first week of July. Please register by July 1st if possible.
What if I have dietary restrictions or food allergies?
We promise to do our best to accommodate. There is a field in the CRC registration form to inform us of dietary restrictions/allergies.
Where do I park for the CRC?
The Hyatt has a valet parking service for $57 per day (+ tax) which includes full in & out privileges. The price is subject to local “surge” pricing.
There are also plenty of parking garages within walking distance of the Hyatt. Pricing varies depending on the day but would not be accompanied by in & out privileges.
A few additional notes:
All events will be within walking distance of the hotel. In & out privileges should generally not be required.
For those that are golfing, we will plan on coordinating carpooling to the course as required.
There is a 1pm Cleveland Guardians baseball game on Thursday, 7/23. The local parking availability will likely be affected by this event.
Where is the conference being hosted in the hotel?
The conference center space is the lower level of the Hotel. The hotel itself has two towers, but the Lower Level is only accessible via the North Tower Elevator. The hotel Lobby (where you check in) is in the North Tower. Enter the Elevator in the Lobby (or anywhere in the North Tower) and press “LL”.
What do I do when I arrive?
Check-in to the hotel (as applicable) and head down to the Lowel Level to visit the CRC Registration Table.
What about the specific events, when and where will those be hosted in?
A schedule of events is available here (subject to change). And see link here for a map of the Lower Level of the hotel identifying where the various events will take place.
What about the special events not taking place at the Hyatt?
There are three events taking place at other locations:
For those golfing, we will coordinate transportation once we have a final headcount. Likely some sort of carpooling situation from the hotel.
The Welcome Dinner on Thursday night will take place at Southern Tier Brewery (811 Prospect Ave) and is a short walk from the venue. We will gather in the hotel atrium to walk over together at 6:15pm.
The dinner on Friday evening will take place at the Terrace Hall at Progressive Field and is a short walk from the venue. We will gather in the hotel atrium to walk over together at 6:15pm.
I am responsible for setting up my chapter history display, where and when will that occur?
The chapter history displays will be set up in the common lobby area just outside of the rooms where we are hosting the Business Sessions & Caucuses. Because this area will not be monitored at night, we do have the ability to move displays into a secure room for night storage as required. Set-up can occur prior to the first caucus session on Thursday or Friday morning!
I’m coming early/staying late, do you have any recommendations for dining/entertainment?
Some of our favorite restaurants within walking distance from the hotel: Cordelia, Butcher and the Brewer, Mabel’s BBQ, Barrio Tacos, and Geraci’s Slice Shop. The hotel is adjacent to East 4th Steet, a pedestrian only area with some of our best restaurants! The hotel also has dining options as well as hosting Rising Start Coffee Shop.
For entertainment, the Cleveland Guardians play at 6:40pm on Wednesday, 7/22 and 1:10pm on Thursday, 7/23 and is quick walk from the hotel. Cleveland boasts the second largest theatre district in the nation (Playhouse Square) with a variety of shows every night. Stop by Edgewater Beach on the west shoreway for a beautiful view of the lake and downtown. A short drive away in the University Circle Area is the Cleveland Art Museum, Botanical Gardens, and Natural History Museum. And of course, we’d be remised if we didn’t mention the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!
